TWIL (this week I learned): forgetting things when you walk into another room is a thing. A studied-by-science thing. Also, you can test cap refill on a dog or cat by pressing on their gums. They don't have nailbeds. That's two things.

Latest productivity thing: I've misplaced the source, but this: "plan for being at the energy level you will be at". IOW, don't plan in the morning (full of coffee and dreams) for executing big ideas in the evening (empty and brain-dead). They won't happen. Plan in a condition of equivalent energy to the time you hope to be doing the doing.

Productivity hack I'm leaning on: Productive Procrastination, and it's cousin, Productive Shirking...

What I'm proud of this week:

  • Recording three-hour days, day after day after day. Up from my standard 2ish

  • Replacing the glass on my ipad. Okay, that was three weeks ago, but I'm still super proud. Every time I touch it. It's not an amateur task! But I rarely let that stop me (it helps when I don't know how hard a thing will be before I start it).

New daily thing: self-hypnosis. It takes seconds (one deep breath) and then it just seems *really important* what you say to yourself while "in". Only good things. Anything is possible. I started with the Reveri app free trial (those production values!) but once the script is in your head, you're off to the races (and don't have to hear that gating).
